Mark James Patteson

MARK JAMES PATTESON Passed away suddenly on September 19, 2011 in Burlington in his 59th year. Beloved husband of Beth. Proud father to Alex, Marla and Holden. Dear brother to Julian (Louise) and Lisa (Frank). Kind caregiver to Dolly. Predeceased by father Alfred Peter and mother Barbara. Mark was born in Norwich, Norfolk, England and immigrated to Canada with his family in 1957. As a graduate of George Brown College, Mark worked for a number of food and drink establishments including the Toronto Board of Trade restaurant in First Canadian Place. Mark loved cooking for his family and friends and was always eager to share his specialty recipes with other food enthusiasts. He was known to friends and neighbors as a good humored and kind man. In keeping with the family's wishes, there will be a private family service. A reception for those who knew Mark will be held at Bay Gardens Funeral Home, 1010 Botanical Drive (across from Bayview, Cemetery, Crematory & Mausoleum), BURLINGTON (905-527-0405) at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, September 23, 2011.
