Watson, Martha Elizabeth (nee Rutherford) - 1924 - 2012 Passed away peacefully at Fudger House, Toronto on Wednesday, July 18, 2012, Martha Elizabeth Watson, beloved wife for 51 years of the late R. Bruce Watson (1999). Dear mother of Cathie (David Hayward), Nova Scotia; Dorothy (Tim Caley) and Margaret (Brian Robinson), Toronto; Bill Mohrmann-Watson (Kathryn), Ottawa and daughter-in-law Glenda MCPherson. Grandmother of James (Anna), Austria; Andrew, Ottawa; Alexander and Benjamin, United Kingdom; Andrew and Duncan, Toronto. Great-grandmother of Alexander and Jacob, Austria. Remembered by seven nieces and nephews and several grand-nieces and grand-nephews. Martha is dearly remembered by her longtime loyal and dedicated friend Cathy Hogg. Martha is predeceased by two stillborn daughters, her eldest son Stanley, her parents Mary See and James Hamilton Rutherford, three nieces, all of her siblings and their spouses. The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) Saturday, July 21 from one o'clock until time of memorial service in the chapel at 2 o'clock.
