ADAMICK, Mary Clare (nee Hillock) - December 28, 1931 - January 23, 2013 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother and grandmother. Clare passed away peacefully with her children by her side on Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at the age of 81. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph (1989) and will be dearly missed by her children Rosemary (Mark), Kathy Jo, Joseph (Donna), Michael, James and grandchildren Renee, Valerie, Heather, Alex, Clarissa, and sister-in-law Amelia, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sister Cathy and brother Egan. Clare was an active parishioner with Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church in West Vancouver and recently received her 40 year service pin from the Catholic Women's League. She made many friends who appreciated her warmth and generosity and spent many hours volunteering in the parish. The family would like to thank the wonderful and caring Doctors, nurses and staff of the Acute Cardiac Care Unit at Lion's Gate Hospital. A Prayer Service will take place on Monday, January 28th from 7 to 9 p.m. and the Funeral Service on Tuesday, January 29th at 11 a.m. at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church (599 Keith Rd., West Vancouver, 604-922-1371).
