I am not in the right age group to have loved Norah's books in high school but I am of the right age group to have been pretty sweet on Norah there. Thus, I still remember her name, for which reason, I put her name on a list of names to compose passwords with a couple of days ago, googling Norah, herself, while I was at it. I was impressed to learn that she was a famous author but I am sorry to hear of your loss. Norah died in February, 2017, and in August of that same year, I lost my prostate gland to cancer. I had the chance to toss a body part over my shoulder, smile, and step on the gas, a chance I took with enthusiasm. Prostate Specific Antigen readings stayed negigible till 2020, then started to rise. Last year I had radiation treatments and PSA plunged again down to next to nothing. The doctor says cancer might come back, but we are not out of treatment options if it does. I will think of Norah in future treatments, if I need them.

I have read many of her books and they are just jaw-dropping and amazing, I was reading a lot about her after she passed and I read about an interview and it said how she got most of her ideas from T.V. shows, movies, and it said from her childhood and that kinda freaked me out because most of her stories are mystery and crime, like my favorite book "Dooley takes the Fall" was it Dooley or is it based off of her real life......HAHA JK. But she was an amazing person and writer and I am soooooo sorry to her family, friends, and her fans. WE LOVE NORAH!!!!!!!!!!!

Dear Herman,
Condolences on the loss of your dear wife Norah. I'm not sure whether you were aware of this, but Norah's late father (Mr. Donald John McClintock) was a member of the Manitoba Follow-up Study (MFUS) since 1948, and we still have a file here at the study on him that we would like to close. If you think you can help us out with that, please email me at [email protected] or call 1-204-789-3667. It shouldn't take long. Our website is www.mfus.ca . Thanks again, and so sorry for your loss.

Dear Herman, I was so sad to hear about the death of Norah, your life's companion. As someone who often gives books to people of all ages I had often seen Norah's name on books however sadly I never made the connection with you. Readers of many ages will miss her I know. Take comfort that she brought joy to your lives and to so many others.
