NORMAN TREADWELL He loved to garden and tell a good story. He didn't like to see an animal in distress. He was never too busy to sit and listen to one of his grandchildren. He was a mentor, a teacher, a gentleman, a loving husband and father. At Matthews House Hospice, Alliston, on Tuesday, October 29, 2013, after a strong battle following a stroke, Norman Treadwell, Kleinburg, in his 85th year, beloved husband of Joy Proctor. Loving father of Gregg and Anita Treadwell, Sandra and Marty Robinson, Susanne and Ken Zardo. Cherished grandfather of Mitchell, Adam, Chloe, Maddison and step-grandfather of Kelsey, Ryan and the late Angie. Dear son of the late Gordon and Winnifred. Dear brother of the late Betty Townley. Dear brother-in-law of Margaret and Don Cole. Fondly remembered by his nephews Doug and Steve, his nieces Ann and Darlene, great-nieces and nephews and many dear friends. The family would like to thank the Good Samaritan Long Term Care and Matthews House Hospice for all the loving care given to Norman. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) Friday evening 7 - 9 o'clock and Saturday morning, November 2 from 10:30 until time of funeral service in the chapel at 11 o'clock.
