DANCE, Ralph - Dear Lord; I know You are very busy, I know You get many calls for different things. But I call out to share my gratitude for my recently departed great-grandpa. He was an inspiration to many, a hero to his country and the very best family man I could ever imagine. He stepped in to play Dad to those without one, he willingly lent a helping hand to any and all and always celebrated and shared his faith. For 91 years, he graced and blessed his family with his unconditional love and willing ear. Today You made a call, a call to bring him home to You and though we are heart broken, we need to thank You. For sharing him with us was the best gift for all of us. On October 12, 2012 at 10:15 a.m. he answered Your call to go home into Your embrace. We will miss him, but his memory and love will live on in all of us forever. In his 91st year, Ralph Henry Dance departed from this plane. Ralph is survived by his faithfully devoted wife Audrey Dance, only daughter Linda (Michael), grandchildren Tammy and Ralph (Lisa) and great- grandchildren Krystle, Krystin, Kelsie and Kassidy. Sister-in-law Barbara Ford (Eddie). A special thanks to the staff at Shepherd's Lodge for their care and support. Visitation will be held at Highland Funeral Home, 3280 Sheppard Ave. E. (west of Warden Ave.), on Sunday, October 14th from 7-9 p.m. and Monday, October 15th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at Salvation Army Agincourt Community Church, 3080 Birchmount Rd. (north of Finch), at 11 a.m. If desired, donations to the Alzheimer's Society or the Salvation Army would be greatly appreciated.
