REGINALD BOUTILIER At age 74, of Richmond Hill, Ontario, passed away on June 26, 2013, ending his hard fought battle with cancer. Reg is resting at Marshall Funeral Home, 10366 Yonge Street, Richmond Hill. Visitation will be held from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 30th. The funeral service will be held at Saint Mary Immaculate Parish, 10295 Yonge Street, Richmond Hill at 10:30 a.m. on Monday July 1st. Father Vernon Boutilier, Reg's cousin from Nova Scotia, will be officiating. Reg was born in Little Pond, Nova Scotia on August 14, 1938. He was one of 13 children to the late Ralph Boutilier and Elizabeth (Jessome) Boutilier. Reg is survived by his wife, Mary, brothers Gordon and Roy and sisters Marie, Eunice, Leona and Violet as well as his many nieces, nephews and extended family members. He is preceded in death by his beloved daughter Sharon, brothers Delaney, Melvin and Bernard and sisters Ann, Ramona and Frances. Reg enjoyed many years coaching his daughter Sharon's hockey and soccer teams and was proud of their many accomplishments including a Provincial Championship status which was held for many years. Reg was married to Mary (Doyle) Boutilier for over 50 years. He enjoyed his many friends and family over the years who will miss his calls and visits. Reg had a love for country music and his yearly fishing trips. Reg and Mary travelled together extensively during his life and they recently joined the ranks of the Florida "snow birds", where Reg continued to enjoy his passion for the horses and casinos. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Doctor Tweedel and the Mackenzie Health Palliative Care Centre for their support in his final days.
