COULSTON, Rheta Elizabeth - Born January 14 1911, passed away peacefully at Markhaven Home for Seniors, Markham, Ontario on November 2, 2012. Rheta was a "Force To Be Reckoned With " as were all her siblings from the William and Elizabeth Anderson family who predeceased her: William, Peggy, Jim, George, Fred, Llewellyn and Olwen. She was hard working, smart and one of the best cooks that the elite of Toronto have ever seen or been advised by. She lived and loved a full life and made a difference to the lives of all her family and friends. Rheta will be missed by her daughter Olwen Dixon, her son-in-law Frank Dixon, her daughter-in-law Donna Coulston, her surviving grandchildren: Anderson Dixon, Mary Patry and Anne Solie, their partners Eurydice Dixon, Jim Patry and Tim Solie and Franca Coulston and Rheta's great- grandchildren: Callista and Nicholas Dixon, Emma and Matthew Solie, Dario and Amanda Coulston, David and Melanie Gomez and Skye Patry and Rheta's surviving nieces and nephews who all carry the dominant "Anderson" genes. The family continues to miss and love Rheta's "love of her life", Ted Coulston who passed away in 1977 and her son Tom Coulston and her grandson Michael Coulston, two loving, caring, sometimes serious and sometimes ridiculously funny guys who left us far too soon in 2011, without Rheta's permission. A celebration of Rheta's life will be held at the chapel of Elgin Mills Cemetery, 1591 Elgin Mills Road East, Richmond Hill, Ontario, at 12:00 noon Saturday, December 1st, followed by a reception at the visitors centre. In lieu of flowers, which Rheta has asked to be excluded (and we still know not to cross her up!), the family would appreciate any donations to the Markhaven Foundation so that others may benefit from the same compassionate loving care that Rheta received at the Markhaven Home for Seniors. www.markhavenfoundation.ca 905-294-2233 x3401
