Richard SULLIVAN Obituary

SULLIVAN, Richard Byrne After a hard-fought battle with lymphoma cancer, Richard Byrne Sullivan passed away peacefully, surrounded by family and loved ones on September 17, 2018 at Princess Margaret Hospital in Toronto. He leaves behind his 4 children with Barbara - Jonathan "J.J.", Desmond, Keriann and Megan "MeMe" Jowett (Stephen). He will also be deeply missed by his siblings, Pat (Marion), Colleen Brown (Tom), Tom, Sue Lankin (Tim), Rosemary and David (Rena). He was especially beloved by his many nieces, nephews and their children. He was predeceased by his parents, Raymond George and Rosemary Theresa and his brother Paul "Chub". Rick was ever generous and diligent, volunteering his time and passion to many, including multiple charities and non-profits through his 67 years. A celebration of Rick's life will be held at 1 p.m. on October 14th at Windreach Farm, Ashburn, Ontario. All whose lives were benefited by Rick in any way are invited to attend and share their memories. A private burial with his family has taken place on September 22nd. In lieu of flowers or gifts, Rick's family asks that donations be made in his memory to either the WindReach Farm Foundation (www.windreachfarm.org), or the Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation's Lymphoma Cancer Research Fund (www.thepmcf.ca).
