ROBERT ARTHUR "BOB" COOPER WWII Veteran Canadian Grenadier Guards 22nd Armoured Division 4th Division Retired Canada Post Station W Peacefully passed away at Lakeridge Health, Whitby on Sunday, March 31, 2013 at the age of 90. Bob Cooper of Oshawa and formerly of Toronto. Beloved husband of Betty. Loving father of Paul (Barb). Treasured grandpa of Christopher (Jessica), David (Susan) and Steven and great grandpa of Matthew and Hailey. Predeceased by his parents Frederick and Florence Cooper. Dear brother of Harold (the late Margaret), Betty, Margaret (the late James Maley), the late Richard (the late Dorothy) and the late William (Terry). Dear borther-in-law of the late Olive "Babe" Cooper. Bob will be lovingly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Friends may call at MOUNT LAWN RECEPTION CENTRE, 21 Garrard Rd., Whitby (North of Hwy. 2), 905-443-3376, on Thursday, April 4, 2013 from 7-9 p.m. and Friday, April 5, 2013 from 11 a.m. until time of service in the chapel at 12 noon. Cremation to follow. In memory of Bob, donations to the Alzheimer Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
