ROBERT HENRY (BOB) SMALLFIELD Peacefully at his home in Gravenhurst with his loving family at his side on Thursday, November 12, 2009. In his 82nd year. Robert Henry (Bob) Smallfield beloved husband to Anne Smallfield (nee Gerrie) of Gravenhurst. Beloved father of Diane Lynn Luciano (Dominic) of Mississauga, Douglas Robert Smallfield (Lynn) of Mississauga and Catherine Anne Black (John) of Gravenhurst. Beloved brother of Richard Walter Smallfield of Gravenhurst. Predeceased by his sister Joan Marie Boyer (Michael) of Toronto. Beloved grandfather of Mark (Kelly), Jennifer, Audra, Carla, Steven, Rachel and Brandon. The family will receive friends at the W. J. CAVILL FUNERAL HOME, 215-1 Bay Street, Gravenhurst, ON on Monday, November 16, 2009 from 7-9 p.m. A Memorial Service to celebrate the life of Bob Smallfield will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, November 17, 2009 with visitation from 12:30 p.m. until the time of the service at 1:30 p.m. Cremation has taken place. In memory, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the South Muskoka Hospital Foundation would be appreciated. Messages o f condolence may be left at www.cavillfuneralhome.com

Dear Anne,

We were so sorry to hear about Bob's passing. Lois Bainbridge is here in Florida and told us the sad news. Don & I had some very good times with you both during our young curling years. He was a wonderful friend and our sympathy goes out to you.
