Dear Father Hudson,
It has been many years since I've last seen you, but I remember you fondly. You were a great priest, I was always happy to go to mass because I was able to serve on your alter. I began as a bell-ringer and grew up into a daughter of Mary. You taught me so much. Thank you and God bless you.
You will be sorely missed.

I first met Father Hudson years ago when I was in Port Elgin visiting my sister Ivonka. I was so impressed with him. I loved going to church to see how he included even the smallest children in the mass. He was a kind soul, a gentle man and he had a great sense of humour. He touched my life in a special way. I always looked forward to seeing him...be it at a mass or at Lindsay's wedding. He touched so many hearts. I know he is very much loved by all who knew him. God bless Father Hudson.

Father Hudson was truly an amazing Priest. As a child in Port Elgin, it always amazed me the warmth and kindness he showed and so like Jesus himself when we would invite the children of the congregation to come and sit around the alter with him during the mass.

Father, for so long you have encouraged me through all trials of my life. I remember you as a child, and was lucky enough to go to Italy with you. You gave so many opportunities to grow and follow the lessons that were so close to your heart - to live a life of love. I aspire to be like you, and you were a close part of my family.

Thank you Father for all the spiritual guidance you gave me during some of the most difficult times in my life. You helped me see the light at the end of many dark days with the passing of my son Allister. Your words of comfort and spirtual guidance helped me continue on and for that I have been truly thankful. My family and I have missed you and will continue to think of you with fond and loving memories.

We loved Father Hudson and enjoyed his sermons every Sunday when he was our parish priest when we lived in Tara.We also attended daily mass and would join him and a few other parishoners in the rectory for coffee and a chat.He was a wonderful priest and if he didn't go straight to heaven there's not much chance for us.Jim and Anne MacDonald Stroud Ontario

We were very saddened on the passing of Father Hudson. Our heart goes out to his family and many friends which he has made through the years. His many stories as a young "Bobbie" with his family in Ireland and his friendship with fellow Irishman Father Ted Colleton will always be remembered. He had baptised our children and will always remain an important part of our lives. God Bless Father Hudson.
