Dear Stephen,
Linda Brown sent me the news about Roger. I am so sorry. What wonderful memories I have of your big brother - in TMR (Glenmount?) and at the beach in New Brunswick. He was such a loyal friend. Please give his family my sincere sympathy. My heart goes out to you Stephen as I think of the ties our two families share. Big hugs.

I worked and traveled with Roger for many years. He was a valued, colleague, mentor and friend even though we lived and worked 4000 miles apart..
It is a sad day for all of us.

Dear Miriam
We are deeply saddened to hear of Roger's passing. We have known him at DREA and worked with him on a few projects. We have great respect for his wisdom, knowledge and admired his friendly nature. You are very much in our thoughts.

Dear Miriam
Although I did get a chance to catch up a wee bit with Roger at the MRHS reunion in Montreal last year, the best memories I have of him are from some 60 years ago when we were in Life Boys together every friday night at Carlyle School. One summer we attended a two week Life Boy camp at Camp Royal Ambassador in Ocean Park, Maine. Roger was in the same cabin with me and we shared all the adventures in the woods and the seashore. Roger was made my "buddy" and when the lifeguard at the huge outdoor salt water swimming pool blew his whistle we had to grasp our buddy's hand and hold it up in the air until all were accounted for. I had not yet learned to swim that summer and once I vividly recall stepping into a hole in the sand and gulping seawater and thrashing about before my buddy Roger pulled me back to shallower water.
I will always smile when I think of the Roger Hollingshead of my childhood.

Dear Miriam
I was shocked and deeply saddened to hear of Roger's passing. We did enjoy some good, albeit few times together and I had a lot of respect for him. I was so very pleased when you and he were able to finally enjoy life together. You are very much in my thoughts.
