SHEILA JANE MARY SPRATLEY Peacefully passed away in Dundas on November 29, 2013, in her 96th year. Predeceased by her husband, George Spratley. Mourned by her daughter, Andrea (Bob Wolgemuth), granddaughters Karen (Matthew Barasch), Tracy (Mark Hodson) and grandson Matthew Wolgemuth (Melanie). Adored Great-Nanna of Naomi and Malcolm Barasch, Tim, Sam and Rachel Hodson and Weston and Molly Wolgemuth. Born in London, England, eldest of 3 sisters (predeceased), immigrating to Toronto in 1952. An incredibly talented, independent and caring woman. A Sumi-e painter, Bon Odori dancer and Blue Jay fan. Member of the Toronto Buddhist Church and Japanese Cultural Centre. She loved music, cinema, reading, knitting and she studied astrology and reflexology. Special thanks to the staff at St. Joseph's Villa, Dundas for their loving care. Cremation has taken place. Friends are invited to celebrate her life at Dodsworth & Brown Funeral Home, 378 Wilson St. E., Ancaster, ON, 905-648-3852, on Friday, December 6th.
