ABBOTT, Verna Georgene - Unexpectedly on August 21, 2012 at Centenary Hospital at the age of 87. Predeceased by her beloved husband Brian. Cherished mother of Bruce and Anne. Loving grandmother of Michelle and Thomas. Greatly missed by her sister Joyce (Norman Morrison) and brother George (Bess Dixon). Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held in the Pine Hills Visitation, Chapel & Reception Centre (625 Birchmount Rd., north of St. Clair Ave. E., Scarborough, 416-267-8229) on Monday, August 27, 2012 at 2 p.m. Reception to follow.
