WILLIAM L. ORR April 25, 1934 - January 6, 2013 Taken suddenly and without warning, Bill passed away on Sunday, January 6, 2013 in his 79th year. Bill leaves behind a devoted family; his loving wife Joanna, his 4 beautiful daughters Cindy (Tony), April (Warren), Nicole (Steve), Debra (Steve). Loving and always cherished "Papa" of Anthony and Jordan, Logan, Hailey and Jamie, Sarah, Konnor, Owen and Maddie, Ethan, Charli, Emma and Victoria, sister Marilyn (Gord), brother-in-law Ed (Judy), sister-in-law Barb, many nieces and nephews, friends, and loyal companion Cooper. Predeceased by his parents William and Delphine, sister Ruth, brothers-in-law Bob and Jack. Born and raised in Oakville, he will be remembered for his long standing dedication and community service. As an accomplished business owner, Bill helped found the Downtown Oakville BIA and is accredited as being the longest standing member. He was also a long standing member of the Oakville West Rotary Club and a Paul Harris Fellowship Award recipient. He was a friend of Bill W and could be found at St. Judes' Monday night meetings. His many friends will remember being touched by his humour, many kindnesses and his light spirit. Bill truly made a difference in the lives of all he came in contact with. Those who had the privilege of knowing him will miss him deeply. All of us have a common mission, and that is to leave the world a better place. Bill set the bar very high for all those he left behind. These are indeed big shoes to fill. Bill definitely did it "His Way". The family would like to thank the staff at Joseph Brant Hospital (Emergency, 2 East and 4 South) for the exceptional care and compassion during this difficult time. Visitation will be held at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Rd.
