KING, William P. (Willy) - Born in Midland, Ontario, January 29, 1947. Close to home in Ajax, ON, Willy passed away peacefully in his 66th year, Thursday, July 25, 2013 at Lakeridge Cancer Centre, Oshawa, ON. He was the eldest son of the late Merceline and David King of Port MCNicoll. Heavenly bound he leaves behind his spouse Janet and a large blended family. Dear father of Jaime and Ryan, Alison and Steve; John and the late Patricia, John Anthony, Elizabeth, Edward and Lorraine, Lisa, William and Annie, Gerald and Lory and Michael and Nancy. His brothers, sisters and sisters-in-law are Reginald and Judy, Wayne and Shirley, Mark and Sydney, Dale, Margaret, Georgina, Carole, Betty and Linda. His spirit will resonate in the lives of his 23 grandchildren, 3 great- grandchildren, 6 nieces and 7 nephews. Willy by profession was a Master Shipwright and effectively exercised his skills and talents for 30 years at Superior Sailboats Ltd., Barzelle Designs and Woodwind Yachts. Friends and family will be received at MOUNT LAWN RECEPTION CENTRE, 21 Garrard Rd., Whitby (north of Hwy. 2), 905-443-3376, on Sunday, July 28, 2013 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. A Requiem Mass will be held on Monday, July 29, 2013 at 12 noon in St. Bernadette's Roman Catholic Church, 21 Bayly Street East, Ajax, Ontario. Interment Mount Hope Cemetery, Toronto.
