WOLF, Manfred - December 25, 1941 - January 26, 2014 Born in Leverkusen (near Cologne), Germany. Passed away suddenly yet peacefully on Sunday morning at his daughter's home in Toronto with his family around him, after a courageous battle with oesophageal cancer. He was very strong, decent and hardworking, always willing and able to help friends and neighbours who turned to him for his ability to fix anything around the house. He loved outdoor activities, with ocean sailing being his biggest passion. He will be greatly missed by his wife Hanne and their 3 children, Christina Wolf-Goodyear, Frank Wolf and Robin Wolf. To remember and celebrate Manfred's life: Saturday, February 1st at St. Timothy's Catholic Church, 21 Leith Hill Road, Toronto, Ontario (north of Sheppard Ave. E., west of Don Mills Road). Visitation at 1:00 p.m. and Funeral Mass at 2:00 p.m. Reception to follow immediately after the funeral service (3:00 - 6:00 p.m.) at Whitlock's Restaurant, 1961 Queen Street East (southwest corner of Queen Street E. and Kenilworth Ave., a few blocks east of Woodbine Ave.). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Temmy Latner Centre for Palliative Care at Mount Sinai Hospital or a dog rescue organization or dog shelter of your choice.
