CHARLES HORACE NASH, JR. Known to all as Charlie or Chuck. After nearly 94 years stepped over the rainbow on Saturday, February 15, 2014 to reunite with Googie. He kept himself busy in his own home reading, cooking and enjoying life for the past 5 years in anticipation of the reunion. Born in Toronto in 1920, he attended East York High School and was a Veteran of WWII serving with the RCAF. He married Mary (Googie) in 1946. Loving father of Michael of Owen Sound and Stephen and Marlaine of Erin Township. Sadly missed by daughter-in- law Ruth Nash of Owen Sound, grandsons Darrell Nash and his wife Naomi of Owen Sound, Geoffrey Nash of Harriston, granddaughters Leanne and her husband Blair Snell of Guelph, Amber Nash and her partner Tom OBrien of Victoria, BC and Michelle and her husband Dave Baker of Ottawa. Also remembered by great- grandchildren Zander, Norah, Allegra, Ethan, Ever and Trey. He will be remembered for always having a smile, always having a joke and always having a hug. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. Cremation has taken place and a memorial celebration of Chuck's life will take place at a later date.
