MOORE, Lilie Frances - "There is a shepherd who cares for his own and he is mine." Lilie went peacefully to her shepherd on February 17, 2014, at the age of 97. A lovely woman who cheerfully served her Lord, her church, her family and friends. She loved music, using her talents as a soloist, choir member and then choir leader. Lilie touched many hearts with her warm smile, gentle spirit, kind heart and generosity. She will be sadly missed by her sisters Kay Payne and Evelyn Hedley; nieces Lynn Hedley, Donna Hedley (Ken Lloyd); nephew David Moore (Rebecca); great-nieces Rebecca Buist, Heather Buist, Sarah Scott (Stephen Scott); great-nephews Mark Evans (Megan) and Guy Legault; and cousin Isabell Thompson. Other loved ones who have gone before are her brother Bob Moore; nieces Susan Moore and Kathleen Evans; and brothers- in-law John Hedley and Fred Payne. Friends will be received at the HERITAGE FUNERAL CENTRE, 50 Overlea Blvd., 416-423-1000, on Thursday, February 20, 2014, from 6-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday, February 21, 2014, at 1 p.m. Interment Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. A reception will follow interment at Bethany Baptist Church (1041 Pape Ave.) at 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society of Toronto would be appreciated.
