DYRIW, Peter - It is with great sadness that the Dyriw family announces the sudden passing of their dear father on Thursday, February 20, 2014 at Southlake Regional Health Centre in his 90th year. Broken hearted by the recent passing of his wife Tekla, of 63 years. Cherished father of Michael (Jo-Anne) and Roman (Helen). Proud Gido of Katherine (Sean), Tanya (Evans), Stephanie (Michael), Michael (Carolyn), Gregory and Billy. Survived by his brother Dmytro and predeceased by his six siblings of Ukraine. Peter will be fondly remembered by Victoria Dyriw, Ivan (Christa) Nych, and many family and friends including those in Ukraine. In 1953 Peter and his wife Tekla bought their first piece of land in the Holland Marsh. It is there where they grew their business and raised their family. Peter enjoyed his time on the farm and he continued to accomplish many tasks till his passing.
