STEVE KAPIS It is with great sadness that the family of Steve Kapis announces his passing at Etobicoke General Hospital on February 19, 2014 at 1:20 p.m. after a brave battle with cancer. Predeceased by his parents Thanasis and Nikoletta. Steve is survived by his loving wife Angie and his sisters Matina, Georgina, Stathula and Eftigia. He will be missed immensely by his two daughters Annie and Charlotte and his son Rob. Steve was the loving father- in-law to John and beloved grandfather of Arron, Alexia and Angelina, a brother-in-law to Peter and loved uncle to Jenifer. Steve was a local icon within his community as a successful business operator for over forty years. He made many friends who will miss him greatly. Having arrived from Greece in 1965, Steve built a new life in Canada employing his tireless work ethic and dedication to his family. He will be remembered for his quick wit, his charming demeanor and his love for his favorite team, the Maple Leafs. Visitation will take place at Glendale Funeral Home (1810 Albion Rd., Etobicoke), on Sunday, February 23rd from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Services will be held at Prophet Elias Greek Orthodox Church (1785 Matheson Blvd., Mississauga), at 10:00 a.m.
