ROBIN BENJAMIN MALLORY December 25, 1920 - March 5, 2014 It is with deep sadness that the family of Robin "Red" Mallory announces that he passed away peacefully on March 5, 2014 in his 94th year. Beloved husband of the late Odette (Sinno); proud father of his five children, Joe (Karen), Jackie (Ron), Doug (Cindy), Robin (Holly) and Tim (Leslie). Robin is survived by his brother Doug and predeceased by his brother Mike and his three sisters Josephine, Louise and Maxine. Robin will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, great- grandchildren, great-great- grandchildren, nieces and nephews, family and friends. Robin proudly served in the Canadian Military during World War II, returning from England with his new bride Odette. He remained in the Army as a professional soldier and retired with the rank of Major after serving a variety of key assignments around the world. He participated in and enjoyed many sports and played competitive horseshoes well into his later years. Robin and Odette were always warm and welcoming hosts and loved having friends and family into their home. Robin will be forever in our hearts and memories. A memorial service will be held on March 15th at 1:00 p.m. at GLEN OAKS MEMORIAL GARDENS AND RECEPTION CENTRE, 3164 Ninth Line (403 and Dundas St.) in Oakville, followed by a small reception. The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the nurses and staff at the West Oak Village Nursing Home in Oakville, for their love and kindness towards Robin during his years in their care.
