ANDERSON, Leigh John - With Judi's unbounded love, strength and support surrounding him, Leigh Anderson passed away on March 5, 2014 in his 61st year after a courageous and hard-fought yearlong battle with cancer. Leigh is the love of Judi's life, his wife and partner for 35 years; the beloved son of Peggy and John Anderson; brother of Lynn Johnson (Mike); brother-in-law of Paul Nielsen (Barbara) and Karl Nielsen (Rhonda). He was the much-loved son-in-law to the late Paul and Margaret Nielsen. His larger-than- life personality will be missed by his nieces and nephews Christopher and Stephanie Johnson; Kayla, Alanna and Sarah Kate Nielsen; Marshall (Kim) Heaton and his great-nephew Henry Heaton. He is sorely missed by his little guy Flynt. Leigh's family would like to thank the wonderful group of people at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre and the Odette Cancer Centre for their care of Leigh. In particular, we would like to thank Drs. Mira Shuman and Anne Wideman of Sunnybrook Family Practice and Drs. Sunil Verma and Yee Ung of the Odette Cancer Centre. Judi would like to thank Leigh's friends and colleagues who have demonstrated unfailing love and support throughout. Cremation has taken place. A "Life of Leigh" celebration will take place at the Summit Golf & Country Club, 11901 Yonge Street (south of Stouffville Side Road), Richmond Hill, ON, 905-884-8189, on Sunday, April 6th at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sunnybrook Hospital Foundation at sunnybrook.ca/foundation. Please join us in celebrating Leigh's life. Condolences - www.rskane.ca
