HATTIN, Megan (nee Burns) - Passed away peacefully at the Village of Riverside Glen on Saturday, March 22, 2014 at the age of 90. Beloved wife of Murray. Much loved mother of Ross and his wife Lynda and Heather and her husband Robert Ridpath. Loving grandmother of Christopher, Andrew and his fiancée Sasha, Jenna and Jody. Megan and Murray shared a loving 60-year marria ge. She was a spunky, organized newshound who contributed to her community by volunteering to several organizations, including the Heart & Stroke Foundation, the Canadian Cancer Society and Church Community V olunteers. Megan enjoyed h er time teaching ESL to newcomers to Canada. Her departure will leave us all with cherished memories. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter "Peel" Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St. (Hwy. 10, N. of QEW) on Saturday, March 29, 2014 for one hour prior to the Funeral Service to be held in the Chapel at 2:00 p.m. A reception to follow at the funeral home.
