JOHN BODNER Departed to be with Christ on Sunday, April 13, 2014 from Trillium Health Centre, Mississauga, in his 97th year. Predeceased by his loving and devoted wife of 50 years, Victoria (nee Babiuk), by his brother Mike and his sister Mary, of Regina, SK. Survived by eldest son Matthew John Bodner of Hamilton, his wife Giselle and granddaughters Michelle Victoria and Amy Giselle Bodner, by younger son Rev. John Peter Bodner of Mississauga and his wife Dorothy, by niece Elaine Seis of Regina, SK and nephew Lt.-Col. Chris Bodner (retired) of Winnipeg, MB and by niece Agnes Herda and nephew George Herda of Regina, SK. A baptized believer in the Lord Jesus and a faithful member of Hope Assembly of Bible Christians, Mississauga, ON, for 22 years; a loyal member of the Sheet Metal Workers International Association Local 30 for some 60 years. Greatly missed as a loving, caring and generous father and grandfather. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter "Peel" Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St., Mississauga, on Thursday, April 24, 2014 from 5-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 25, 2014 in the Chapel.
