CLAIR, Helen Rose - Of Ventnor, NJ died peacefully on Saturday, May 3, 2014. Honey Rose is predeceased by her husband Jim of 46 years and her youngest son John. Honey Rose is survived by her children: Maryann, Emily, James, Donna, Pauline and daughter-in-law Theresa; 17 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Born in Pittsburgh in 1927, she graduated from her "Beloved" Pitt University in 1950. After their early years in Pittsburgh they moved to Toronto Canada where she was actively involved with her children's activities. After her husband became a Deacon she supported his vocation and became the first "woman" graduate of Regis College with a Masters of Theology in 1977. They retired to Ventnor. She moved to the Villa Raffaella three years ago and was cared for by the Sister there. She was "home". She dearly loved "parties" and "events" with the family and celebrating each and all of the accomplishments of close friends and family. She signed all cards with four letters AMDG. Translated means "For the Honor and Glory of God". Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on May 10th at Holy Trinity Parish: St. James Church, Ventnor.
