BROWN, Raymond A. - Peacefully, at the Village of Humber Heights, on Monday, June 2, 2014, at the age of 85. Beloved husband of Marie for 62 years. Loving father of Paula (Glen Davidge), Margaret (David Senn) and Peter. Proud grandfather of Keith (Lisa), Lianne, Jonathan and Claire. Dear brother of Joan and the late Norville. Ray's many interests included camping, canoeing, gardening, golfing and curling. He was an accomplished wood-turner and was active in the United Church. His successful career as an electrical engineer included work with GE in Peterborough and later with Ontario Hydro at Bruce Construction and in Transmissions. Ray's dry sense of humour and his great love for family and the people around him will be missed. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Butler Chapel, 4933 Dundas St. W., Etobicoke (between Kipling and Islington Aves.) from 7-9 p.m. on Friday and 2-3 p.m. on Saturday. A Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, June 7, 2014, at 3 o'clock. For those who wish, donations may be made to Sleeping Children Around the World or to St. James United Church. Online condolences may be made through www.turnerporter.ca
