HARRIS, Ruth P. (nee O'Brien) - Passed quietly, in her 90th year after completing her lifelong task of showing us how to have fun, how to be kind to each other and how to live without judgment and die with dignity, on Tuesday, June 10, 2014. Ruth left us to be reunited with her husband Thomas, her parents and two brothers William and Edward and sister Mary. We, her beloved nieces and nephews who are left behind, Rita, Bill, Mike, Pat, Marty, Marlene and Paul, will fondly remember our laughter filled days together. We will teach our children about the legacy of Aunt Ruth. We thank the people in her life with whom she shared respect in particular her many friends at Ford Motor Company, her neighbours and in the end the health care workers. Our friend, our mentor, now our angel. It has been our privilege. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Butler Chapel on Sunday from 7-9 p.m. with prayers at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, 3914 Bloor St. W., on Monday, June 16, 2014, at 10:30 a.m. Interment Glendale Memorial Gardens. If desired donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation. Online condolences may be made through www.turnerporter.ca
