BRONISLAW "BRUNO" CHROBAK Peacefully at home surrounded by family on Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at the age of 88. Beloved husband of Annie for 66 years. Loving father of Joseph (late Kathy), John, Irene, Anne (Andrew), Helen (Edward), Susan (Deacon George) and Roma (Donald). Cherished Dziadzu of nineteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Bronislaw will be lovingly remembered by his sister Gienia Nowak and many nieces, nephew, friends and extended family around the world. He was born in Poland, a WWII survivor, immigrated to Canada with five children and five dollars on July 1, 1959. The family settled in Sioux Lookout, ON, where the family increased by two. They relocated to Toronto in 1965 where he worked for Canadian National Railway retiring in 1988. Bruno was a devout Catholic, loving husband and father who will be sadly missed. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter "Peel" Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St., Mississauga (Hwy. 10. N. of the QEW) on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, 5440 Durie St., Streetsville, on Monday, June 16, 2014 at 11 a.m. Entombment Assumption Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. Online condolences available through www.turnerporter.ca
