EDWARD WILTON (TED) HEATHER With sadness we announce the passing of Edward Wilton (Ted) Heather, on June 21, 2014 following a long battle with Parkinson's Disease. Predeceased by parents Wilton and Joy, sister Mary and first wife Clare. Ted will be missed by wife Jude, sister Margery, children Todd (Desirée), Vicki (Keith), Ruth (Kelly) and grandchildren Chris (Jessica), Jeff (Cj), Jayme, Natalie, Clare and Julia. An entrepreneur and longtime President of Postal Promotions, Ted helped found the Canadian Direct Mail Association. He served for a time as President of the CDMA and was awarded an honorary life membership. His love of sports extended from high school football to early morning squash, sailing to skiing. Ted enjoyed an active outdoor lifestyle, jazz and time with family and friends. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 25th from 7-9 p.m. A Celebration of Life Service and reception on Thursday, June 26th at 11 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home, 524 Davis Drive, Newmarket (905-898-2100). In lieu of flowers, donations in Ted's memory may be made to Parkinson Society Canada. Online condolences may be made at www.taylorfh.ca
