NEWTH, Marguerite - Passed away on Thursday, June 19, 2014 at Applefest Lodge, Brighton. Born on March 2, 1926 in Stratford, she was the daughter of the late John and Alice Reid. She was a loving wife and mother. Marg was a traveller and spent much of her retirement visiting foreign lands with her husband. She enjoyed arts and crafts, cooking for her family, line dancing and carpet bowling with the Seniors Club in Trenton. Marg had an interest in life and was always busy gardening, bowling or playing games with her grandchildren. Marg will be lovingly remembered by all who knew her, for her huge laugh. Marg enjoyed a rewarding life and loved her profession as a cost accountant. She and her husband cleared the land and built a cottage where she spent many happy hours with her family. Marg is predeceased by her husband of 65 years, William Newth. She will be lovingly remembered by her son Don and his fiancée Andrea, Janice and her husband Dean Warden and Patricia and her husband Greg Goode. Loving and caring grandmother to five grandchildren: Patricia and her husband Chris Goddard, Amanda and her husband Jamie Gonsalves, Aaron Newth and David Goode and his wife Kelsey. Marg was predeceased by her granddaughter Laura-Beth Goode. Marguerite will be always loved and forever missed by her four great-grandchildren: Ryan and Brandon Goddard, Lily-Anne Gonsalves and Quinn Laura Beth Goode. Predeceased by her sister Carol Becker. Sister to Gloria Hughes of Trenton. She will be missed by her many nieces and nephews. At Marguerite's request there will be no funeral service. She will be laid to rest with her husband in St. George's Cemetery, Trenton. Arrangements are in the care of the Weaver Family Funeral Home - West Chapel.
