NANCY EDITH ANN HOLLAND MacFARLANE April 28, 1935 - June 29, 2014 It is with sadness that the MacFarlane girls, Nancy Lynn (John Langen), Sharon (Kim Holden) and Heather (Dr. Garry Willard), announce the passing of their amazing mother, Nancy. Predeceased by her beloved husband George who has been patiently waiting for almost 11 years to be reunited with her. Daughter of the late Nell and Robert Holland and dear sister to big brother Dutch (Barb). Our mother's kind and gentle spirit will live on in her grandchildren whom she adored and who adored her: Nicole (Adam Lopes), Sean, Robert and Kyle Langen and Melissa and Matthew McCarron. Mom's smile could light up a room, her kindness to all was exemplary, her thoughtfulness surrounded her with many, many friends. Also known as the "Bib Lady", Mom's love of sewing and children came together as she made and gave away thousands of bibs to new parents. Her "bib packages" have travelled worldwide and all done out of the goodness of her heart. Few people walk this earth with a pure and gentle heart like Mom's. Mom was so loved and is truly missed by so many. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W., at Windermere, east of the Jane Subway, on Thursday, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and on Friday from 1-3 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday, July 4, 2014 at 3 o'clock. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Toronto All Star Big Band or Headwaters Health Care Centre Auxiliary, Orangeville for preservation of the hospital gardens. Online condolences may be made through www.turnerporter.ca
