IVAN SAMUEL CHIN Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on June 27, 2014, at Rouge Valley Centenary at the age of 90. He will be deeply missed by Lily, his wife of 66 years; his 10 children Gary (Valli), Ivan (Sharon), Wendell (Debbie), Clifton, Kevin (Bev), Lillene (Dev), Betty (Brian), Andre (Janice), Kirk (Fran) and Brett. Cherished grandpa to 32 grandchildren and 20 great- grandchildren. Brother to Veroy, Tenny, Vie, Marie, Lily and Ken; predeceased by Alvin, Harold, Harry, Stanley and Darrieux. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 3, 2014, from 5:00-9:00 p.m. at Highland Funeral Home at 10 Cachet Woods Court in Markham. The Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, July 4th at Malvern Christian Assembly, 6705 Sheppard Avenue East, Scarborough. Interment follows at Pine Ridge Memorial Gardens, 541 Taunton Road West, Ajax. Special thanks to the wonderful doctors, nurses and RTs at Rouge Valley Centenary for their excellent care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, donations to Rouge Valley Health System Foundation will be appreciated.
