DANIEL MARK Daniel died peacefully on June 30, 2014 after fighting cancer with dignity and grace. He is survived by his loving spouse, Kyle Spencer, his parents Ying and Jennifer, brother Russell and sister-in-law Vera (Ng), his nephew Marston Lung Yang, sister Julia and brother-in-law John Buttigieg, nephews Gavin and Gabriel and other relatives. Daniel was born on September 29, 1963 in Port Hope, Ontario. Graduated from Trinity College at the University of Toronto and Queen's University Law School. For 23 years, he found fulfillment as a Crown Prosecutor and Counsel to Senior Management with the Ministry of the Attorney General. Daniel enjoyed learning and teaching. He was actively involved in the Ministry's Crown School Program for Prosecutors, the University of Toronto Law School's Trial Advocacy Program, Osgoode Hall's Trial Advocacy Professional Development Program and Leading Catechesis and Church School Programs at The Church of the Redeemer. Daniel loved travelling the world. He loved and was loved and will be greatly missed. Visitation will be held Friday, July 4th from 6-8 p.m. at Church of the Redeemer, 162 Bloor St. West. Funeral Service will be held Saturday, July 5th at 11 a.m. at St. James Cathedral, 65 Church St. (at King St.) with a reception/party to follow.
