NEATE, William Arthur (Bill) - It is with deep sadness that we share the news that Bill died in the early hours of Sunday morning, holding hands with Monica, his devoted wife and very best friend of nearly 24 years. Born in England in 1926, he immigrated to Canada in 1955. As Controller of Southam Murray Printing in Weston, he retired in 1989. Bill was predeceased by his loving wife of almost 30 years, Ruth (Morgan) and was a wonderful father to his two sons, of whom he was most proud, Eric (Deirdre) and Ralph (Lisa) and loving grandfather to Marley and James. An avid sportsman, with sailing and skiing being his passions. Escaping Canada's freezing winters, he and Monica were fortunate to travel to many parts of the world. The family is extremely grateful for the wonderful kindness shown by all the medical staff of 4B at the Trillium Health Centre, especially Vieta . Monica will always be indebted to three magnificent Firemen who came to her aid. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Peel Chapel, 2180 Hurontario Street (north of the QEW), Mississauga, on Sunday, July 13, 2014 from 2-5 p.m.
