JAMES NICKERSON Peacefully, after a hard fight, at the Toronto General Hospital, on Wednesday, July 16, 2014, at the age of 47. Beloved partner of Barbara Marszalek for 9 years. Loving father of Jeffrey Nickerson. Raised in Atwoods Brook, Nova Scotia, Jim is the dearly loved son of Avery and Lorna Nickerson and grandson of the late Fred and Mildred Nickerson. Loving son-in-law of Stefania Marszalek. James had a zest for life who had a huge heart and was so proud to be a Nova Scotian. He loved photography, filming and always had a camera in his hand during his many travels and geocaching. He touched the lives of all those he met. James will be greatly missed by all his friends and colleagues at CTV and across the nation, but especially by his beloved dog Kyra. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W., at Windermere, east of the Jane Subway, on Friday, from 4-9 p.m., with words being spoken at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, July 19, 2014 at 9 a.m. Interment Sanctuary Park Cemetery.
