BELL, Evelyn Eva - It is with great sadness that we announce Evelyn's peaceful passing on July 21, 2014 in her 95th year. We wish to thank the Guildwood Extendicare, especially the West Wing staff for their tireless care and compassion for Evelyn during her stay. She will be deeply missed by loving son Jamie and partner Judy, loving daughter Carol and husband Jim. She was a treasured grandmother of Jessica and partner James, Julie, Edward and wife Brenda. She was a cherished great-grandmother of Montana, Alex, William, Connor, Kristen and Danielle. Loving sister to Audrey, predeceased by brothers Jim, Alf, Harry and Ernie, and sisters Em, Elsie, Peggy and Edna. Evelyn was a longtime parishioner of the Danforth Morningside Mennonite Church, longtime volunteer for "Meals on Wheels", active member of the St. Clair O'Connor Community Centre, Harmony Hall Seniors Group and great friend of Lois W. Fondly remembered by family and many dear friends. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, July, 25, 2014 at McDougall and Brown "Scarborough Chapel", 2900 Kingston Rd., 416-267-4656, with visitation from 10:00-11:00 a.m. with a service to follow at 11:00 a.m. Reception to follow afterwards. In lieu of flowers, donations in Evelyn's memory can be made to the Sunnybrook Veterans Volunteer Program.
