PALUMBO, Anthony - Passed away the morning of Thursday, July 24, 2014 following a hard battle with pleural mesothelioma. Tony is predeceased by his loving son Dylan and survived by his devoted wife Candy (nee Robson) and daughter Emma. Loving son of Donato and Antonietta (Dinardo) Palumbo. Devoted brother of Grace, Lena, John, Silvia, Gabriella, Diana and brother-in-law Guy Robson. Tony will be deeply missed by his brothers and sisters-in-law, his nieces and nephews, his aunts and uncles and his many cousins, friends and colleagues. We share a tragic loss. Tony was born January 20, 1955 in Roccamorice, Italy. After attending St. Michael's College School and Vaughan Road Collegiate Institute, he moved to Ottawa to attend Carleton University. Tony worked in Computer Technology and formed his own company TMG Consulting. Family and friends will be received at Bernardo Funeral Home (2960 Dufferin St., south of Lawrence) on Sunday, July 27th from 2:00 - 4:00 and 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. A private memorial service will be held for extended family and close friends on Monday, July 28th in Sala Caboto at Villa Colombo (40 Playfair Ave. - off Dufferin St., south of Lawrence Ave.) at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Amnesty International and World Wildlife Foundation.
