ANDREWS, Leonard Everard - Member of the Archdiocese of Toronto, Deacon at St. Martin of Tours and St. Catherine of Siena in Mississauga, assisted Fr. Galia bringing communion to seniors' residences in Orillia, OPP member for 31 years, member of the Knights of Columbus 4th degree, avid in field hockey and former Naval signalman for the Indian Navy Passed peacefully at Soldiers' Memorial Hospital in Orillia on Thursday, July 24, 2014 in his 83rd year. Leonard, loving husband to Philomena, will be sadly missed by his children Bradley, Floyd (Pamela) and Eugene; by his grandchildren Zachary, Victoria, Emily, Rachel, Isabelle and Chloe; and by his sisters Thelma Stark and Shirley-Ann Evans. Leonard is predeceased by his brothers Derrick and Wilfred. The family will receive family and friends at the Doolittle Chapel of Carson Funeral Homes, 54 Coldwater St. E., Orillia, 705-326-3595, on Sunday, July 26, 2014 from 2-5 p.m. Parish prayers at 2 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Columbkille's Catholic Church (4993 Hwy. 12 in Uptergrove (Rama), Ontario) on Monday, July 28, 2014 at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow.
