ROSSELL, Arthur E. (Art) - Art peacefully passed away with his wife of 27 years by his side. He will always be remembered by his beloved wife Jean. Devoted dad to Alan, Grampa to Michelle, Denise, Donna, Eddie, Tony and Janet, Great-Grampa to 6 and his furry friend Tia. Art was predeceased by his son Mike and his first wife Pam. Art will be sadly missed by extended family and friends. A proud Veteran of WWII, one of the few remaining Essex-Scottish Regiments. Art was part of the government of Canada delegation that travelled to France to mark the 70th anniversary of the Dieppe Raid with his nephew David. Art was also a member for over 50 years to the British Canadian Club. He and his wife enjoyed playing cards and travelling the world together. Visitation for Art will be held at Andrews Community Funeral Centre (8190 Dixie Road, Brampton, ON, 905-456-8190) on Sunday, July 27, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday, July 28, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Sunnybrook Hospital, Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Salvation Army.
