GROVE, John Howard "Jack" - Passed away peacefully on July 24, 2014 at the Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital. Born in Toronto, Ontario June 27, 1927. Jack was employed with the City of Toronto for 36 years before his retirement in 1990. He was a longtime member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 266 and the King Hiram Lodge, Number 566. He is survived by his sons Robert John and Michael Raymond, his daughter-in-law Starr Grove, his daughter Jacqueline Helen Stewart, his son-in-law Logan Stewart and his four grandchildren Christine and Thomas Stewart; and Adelyse Holmes and Brandon Grove. He will be forever missed by his many relatives and friends. Visitation will take place on Thursday, July 31st at the Lynett Funeral Home (3299 Dundas St. W.) from 10 - 11 a.m. A funeral service will take place at 11 a.m. in the chapel. Burial to follow at Prospect Cemetery.
