RON RICHARD PUGH September 26, 1949 - July 28, 2014 After a courageous seven-year challenge with cancer, Ron passed away peacefully at his residence in Toronto. His life partner of 48 years Larry Rogers and his beloved pet Max were with him. Ron was predeceased by his parents Roy and June. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sister Beverley (Roger) of Vancouver, sisters-in-law Kathy and Shelagh (Darren), as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews and numerous friends. As well as being an administrator at Fudger Home for the Aged, Ron was a successful entrepreneur, owning and managing apartment buildings in Toronto and Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He took early retirement at age 51 to travel and enjoy life. At first, they lived in Fort Lauderdale and Miami, where they kept their boat. In 2005, Ron and Larry moved to the Republic of Panama, where they lived in their condominium in Panama City and their coffee farm and residence in Boquete. Ron especially loved his homes in South Rosedale and Boquete and his schnauzer Max. Ron, Larry and Max enjoyed their life together and travelled extensively throughout Europe and Asia, including over 50 cruises. There will be cherished memories. Special thanks to Ron's doctors Dr. Kevin Imire of Sunnybrook Hospital and his family doctor Dr. William Santo for their ongoing care. At Ron's request, cremation has taken place. There will be a celebration of Ron's life, Sunday, August 3, 2014 at his Toronto residence for his immediate family. In lieu of flowers, please go out and enjoy a dinner in memory of Ron.
