LONGMIRE, Margot Eleanor (nee Nash) (Douglas, Barrow) - May 11, 1930 - August 14, 2014 Surrounded by her daughters, Margot went to be with her Lord peacefully, after a ten-year battle with Alzheimer's disease. Predeceased by her cherished husbands Jim Douglas, Bert Longmire and Harry Barrow and parents Florence and Archie Nash. She will be lovingly missed by her daughters Penny Douglas (Patrick), Patti Shevlin (Glen), Pamela Liston (Bev) and Susan Fiks-Longmire (Henri) and her brother Bob Nash (Sharron). Greatly missed by her favourite niece Shauna, nephew Adam (Marni and Aiden) and cherished cousin Margaret Simpson and family. Remembered by her grandchildren Shannon (Joy) and Tonia (Glenn) and great- granddaughter Tatiana. Margot was an active member of Martin Grove Baptist Church and IODE for many years. The family would like to extend sincerest gratitude to Dr. Harry and the caring staff of the Reminiscence Floor of Sunrise Thorne Mill. A service was held at the Jerrett Funeral Home, 8088 Yonge Street, Thornhill, on Monday, August 18th, followed by burial at Thornhill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society of Toronto would be appreciated.
