HARVEY, Richard Alfred - Peacefully at St. Joseph's Hospital on Friday, August 22, 2014 in his 75th year. Loving husband of Henrietta for 28 years. Richard will be sadly missed by 2 brothers Michael and Peter in England and sister Patricia Pepper of Dorchester, Ontario and their families. He is also survived by several step-children and many lifelong friends. Richard was a designer of jet engines working for Rolls Royce and Pratt & Whitney and held many patents. He was an avid traveller, sailor and singer and a very active member of Probus Clubs in Ancaster and Dundas. The family would like to thank the staff of St. Joseph's Hospital Firestone Institute and of the CCU. Cremation has taken place. The family invite friends and relatives to the DODSWORTH & BROWN Funeral Home ANCASTER CHAPEL, 378 Wilson St. E. 905-648-3852 (www.dbancaster.ca) on Tuesday, August 26, 2014 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A Private Family Service will be held. In memory of Richard donations may be made to The Lung Association. At Richard's request we are having a party at the end of September for all his friends and family to share memories.
