FORREST, Muriel Frances "Mimi" (nee Benson) - After a long and courageous struggle with Alzheimer's Disease, our dear Mom, surrounded by her loving family, passed on to a better life in the wee hours of Wednesday, November 12, 2014. Beloved wife of the late David William Forrest and sister of the late Jessie Dorland. Loving Mother of Ben Forrest (Grainne), Megan Forrest (Jack Leddy) and Melissa Jaeger (Troy). Adored Granny to Ryan, Amy, Sasha, Brendan, Cassandra, Madeline, Nicole and Holly. Mom leaves behind so many people whose lives she touched with her love, compassion and generosity. All are invited to Visitation at the DIXON-GARLAND FUNERAL HOME, 166 Main St. N., Markham, ON, 905-294-2030, on Friday, November 14, 2014 from 6-9 p.m. A Service to be held in Rouge Valley Mennonite Church, 7452 Reesor Rd., Markham, on Saturday at 2 p.m. Interment to follow.
