To Mom and Dad,

How could I forget the first moment I met my brother Kevin. I was playing in what I thought was the biggest sandbox but it was the future swimming pool for all family and friends. I was playing and looked around to see how I can get out but, these arms came down and lifted me up hearing "Hello I'm your big brother Kevin". From there well, you know history was made as brother and sister. You have raised him to be a fabulous father to Cale and Marlee and a loving husband to Cindy. Sorry for the loss of your son. May his memory, spirit and guidance remain with us forever.

Cindy, you and your family have our deepest sympathy. Genie and I were privileged to be with you and Kevin on the ROJ cruise a couple of years ago. I've seen Kevin several times since, and he was always the the same kind, warm and jovial fellow I came to know on the cruise. Again, please accept our deepest sympathy. Wally Claypool

Hello Bruce and Gayle: I am a voice from the long past. My friend Bonnie Lee sent me this notice.. I remember Kevin when he was just a wee boy and use to come in to the Markham shop/head office to visit his Dad. It was with great pride that you spent time showing him around. Dear Bruce and Gayle,
I don't know if you remember me, but I was friends with Kevin all through high school. I have lived out of the country for the last 18 years so I had not been in touch with Kevin. I was very saddened to hear of his passing and your terrible loss. I remember Kevin as a great friend, always fun and very upbeat. I know he was a wonderful son and from the sounds of it, a wonderful husband and father. My deepest sympathy and condolences to all of you.
With love, Angela Brown

Leslie and I were shocked today when we heard about the loss of Kevin. I remeber when I first met Kevin many years ago, he had a way of making the joys of life contagious. Although we now live in a different country and are unable to attend the service for Kevin, we want you to know that our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time of sorrow. We remember Kevin with fondness. Sincerely, Scott & Leslie Goodyear.

I was introduced to "Brillo" when I joined the Hounds hockey club in Markham a few years back; Kevin was always involved in the dressing room conversation and had one of the best and heartiest laughs I've ever known. I had the pleasure of rooming with him at a hockey tournament in Montreal -he had more stuff to cure hangovers than I'd ever seen before - how good was that? -what a thoughtful roommate! He spoke of his kids going to school in Europe and family trips there. A great competitor with many friends who lived life fully. Score one for the Hounds in Heaven!

Together they were magnets, and drew close to them, many friends from all walks of life. They achieved a perfect union for making all who crossed their threshold feel welcome and at ease. Kevin never seemed so happy as when he had gathered good friends together for golf, hockey, boating, travelling, dinner, cottaging, hunting....the activity was never as important as long as he was surrounded by friends. We are blessed to have been counted amongst those he called "friend."
