CALCE, Mario - Passed away surrounded by family on February 23, 2009 at North York General Hospital at the age of 76. Loving husband of Michelina and loving father of Lorenzo (Anna) and Rita (Paul Pedulla). Will be sadly missed by grandchildren Joseph, Mario, Francesca, Marina, Marco and Dina. Friends may call on Wednesday, February 25, 2009 from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, February 26, 2009 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Paschal Baylon Roman Catholic Church (92 Steeles Avenue West). Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Mausoleum. Michelina, Rita, and Lorenzo,
Mario was one of a kind and will be sadly missed by all. He brought joy to everyone who knew him with his smile, his laughter and his amazing grace. He was always so full of life and Olive Ave will not be the same without him. He waved to me each and every time I drove by. He was a terrific friend and I will remember him always. He will be forever in my heart. His passing has shocked me more than words can say and the thought of him passing brings tears to my eyes.
