JOSEPH A. QUATTROCCHI (Retired President of J. Quattrocchi & Co. Ltd.; 4th Degree Knights of Columbus, Rideau Council 2444, Smiths Falls and Member of the Cartier Council, Ottawa). Peacefully in hospital, Perth, on Thursday, September 3, 2009, Joseph Anthony Quattrocchi in his 85th year. Beloved husband of Jean (La Mantia) Quattrocchi for over 56 years. Loved father of Vince (Dorothy) of Lombardy, Fran, Jim (Caroline), Joe Jr. all of Smiths Falls and Joanne (Scott) Jibb of Cobourg. Cherished grandfather of Mark and Luke, Jamie, Jessica, Jeremy and Jeanna, and Christina. Foster grandfather to Adam, Avery and Andrew. Brother of Murray of Smiths Falls, Gus (Mary) of Perth, Mary Pizzo of St. Catharines. Predeceased by his sister Rose Quattrocchi, brother Philip, sisters-in-law Rose, Mary and Rita and brother-in-law Peter Pizzo. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends in the business community. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, Smiths Falls, on Sunday, September 6, 2009 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, September 7, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Francis de Sales Church, Smiths Falls, where Joe was a proud and faithful choir member for some 35 years. Interment, St. Francis de Sales Cemetery.
