JOHN ALEXANDER (JACK) HALE April 20, 1924 - November 14, 2010 WWII Veteran - Sherbrooke Fusiliers Armoured Regiment, A Squadron; Employee of Ontario Hydro Passed peacefully on Sunday, November 14, 2010 at Credit Valley Hospital. Survived by his wife, Wanola; children, Pat Pileggi (Sam), Elaine Dow (John), Matthew (Adrienne), Lyn Markle (Earl), Allison Rodrigues (Peter), and Kendal Beckett (Doug); grandchildren, Matthew (Kelly), Devon (Brian), Fraser, Graham, Ryan, Alex, Nicole, Leslie (Lance); and great-grandchildren Eric, Amanda, Melanie and Sloane. A heartfelt thank you goes out to Dr. Donald Jones. A celebration of John's life will take place on Saturday, November 20 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. at the Queen's Own Rifles (Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 344), 1395 Lakeshore Blvd. W., Toronto. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
